The spectrum of pathologies is varied and complex; practices go from exodontia (extraction of teeth) to treating fractures of the bones in the face and the correction of face malformations, to name only a few.\r\n\r\nSurgery for ambulatory patients is performed in an Operating Room within the area of the Odontology Department, equipped with all the state of the art technical elements. Surgery procedures requiring general anaesthesia are only performed at the Hospital Central ORs, on the fifth floor. Asepsis and biosafety standards and controls are the highest and are continually monitored. The Service also has an area for temporomaxillary pathology."],"description_de":["In der MKG erfolgt die Behandlung von Krankheiten, Verletzungen und Missbildungen, die die Funktionsf\u00e4higkeit der Mundh\u00f6hle und ihrer Organe beeintr\u00e4chtigen und einschr\u00e4nken. Das Behandlungsspektrum ist vielseitig und umfassend und reicht von der Exodontie (operative Zahnentfernung) \u00fcber die Behandlung von Frakturen in den Gesichtsknochen bis zur Korrektur von Gesichtsmissbildungen, um nur einige wenige Leistungen zu nennen. Die ambulanten operativen Eingriffe erfolgen in einem OP-Saal innerhalb der Fachabteilung f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin und MKG, der mit modernster zahnmedizinischer Technik ausgestattet ist. Die Eingriffe, die Vollnarkose erfordern, werden in den zentralen OP-R\u00e4umen des Hospitals im f\u00fcnften Stock durchgef\u00fchrt. Die Standards und Kontrollen in Bezug auf Asepsis und Biosicherheit gelten als optimal und werden st\u00e4ndig \u00fcberwacht.
