Some years ago the Service started performing video assisted surgery of perforants, a new technique to treat vein ulcers. The inventor of this technique, Professor Hauer, from the University of Munich, performed the first interventions of this kind at the German Hospital in Buenos Aires, a pioneer in this field. He shared his knowledge with the Phlebology Service and supplied them with the sophisticated instruments necessary for such procedure."],"description_de":["Der Bereich Phlebologie des Hospitals befasst sich im Wesentlichen mit der Behandlung von Venenerkrankungen, insbesondere Krampfadern (auch Varizen genannt). Seit einigen Jahren wird hier auch die videoskopische Perforans-Chirurgie, eine neuartige Technik zur Behandlung von Venengeschw\u00fcren durchgef\u00fchrt. Professor Hauer der Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen hat die ersten Eingriffe dieser Art am Deutschen Hospital in Buenos Aires zur Behandlung von Venengeschw\u00fcren durchgef\u00fchrt und Pionierarbeit geleistet.
